Definition of Taqwa Talq ibn Habib (رحمه الله) said: "Taqwa is to act in obedience to Allah, upon a light from Allah, (Upon knowledge & iman) hoping for the reward of Allah. And taqwa is that you leave off disobedience to Allah, upon a light from Allah, (Upon knowledge and faith) fearing the punishment of Allah.” 📖Related by Ibn al-Mubarak al-Zuhd wal-Raqa‌’iq

Benefits of Taqwa & Fasting -Furqaan; Knowledge. Ability to distinguish between the right & wrong - If you're pious Allāh loves you -Allāh will protect you - Allāh will always give you a way out - Allāh will provide for you - The best of you are those who are pious - For the pious there is a paradise - Fasting is the greatest means to attain the piety - The fasting person stays away from his desires because he knows Allāh is watching him - Fasting person increases in the righteous actions -The person of Taqwa is the most beneficial to the people
