You know, it's funny. Pulling up the last couple of videos, I remember where Hat Films came from, back when we were watching them for stuff like Minecraft Skyblock and adventure maps, Trials Revolution, Worms games. I remember being so proud of them when they started to really make it big, even getting their own mod packs and stuff. And then things got busy, and from my perspective they sorta just got lost in the in the whirlwind of shit going on, I never even looked at the gaming channel because I just never found the time. Now, though, I feel a sense of nostalgia, a desire to hear their banter and see their successes as well as their fumbles; not just to watch their new content, but to go back and watch what I missed. It takes a special kind of channel to hold this kind of sway. And I'm happy for me that it's Hat Films.

Dog owner here: I noticed that my dog didn't start eating his poop until I started taking a harder stance on discipline on potty incidents. I guess he figured "If I poop, he gets mad, so I'll eat the evidence", except the evidence still leaves a brown stain. I lessened up on the discipline but stayed consistent with disciplining him for every instance, and over time he decided to try _not_ pooping in the house and eating it, and when he realized that was working, the problem was solved.

Had a dog who ate the string used to wrap up a joint of roast beef, but no one knew about it until I was walking him and wondered what alien abomination was crawling out of his ass. My Dad had a dog that ate an elasticated sock, and when my Dad saw the dog was struggling the next day, he grabbed the sock with a poo bag. The dog then proceeded to run away with most of the sock still inside him. My Dad watched in growing horror as the sock stretched further and further, until finally it just dropped to the ground, all the elasticity luckily gone.

The issue is not enough people transitioned over from their main channel, to the gaming one, which is why they moved gaming back to their main channel.

@@jesseparker8878 I think you misunderstand the situation. They were suggested to split the channel to move their gaming stuff over. Too few people migrated over so they canceled it. If people were not watching their IRL stuff, then they were either 1: watching hat gaming already, or 2: not watching them at all anyway. Either way their decision has nothing to do with people not watching IRL content. It was purely about getting more eyes on their gaming content, since again not enough people migrated over to the new channel. I have to imagine this is advertiser related as well. In order to get the good ad contracts they need to show a large enough subscriber count and viewership numbers, and since not enough people were watching on hat gaming, they were struggling to convince advertisers to use them. Now they should get good ad revenue again.
