This brings back memories when I was in 5th grade in Arkansas. Our teacher never told us that there were pig brains in our breakfast eggs (we were celebrating finals being over) and so I ate my eggs and then she's like "surprise! you all ate brains! See- not so bad!" and it was like *surprise Pikachu face* because it felt wrong of her to just not tell us there were brains in there. >.< Been traumatized by it ever since. Frickin' PTSD won't let me forget memories like that and others.

That is indeed food, it’s edible, and digestible. A leather belt or a shoe are not food because while it is technically edible, you can’t ingest or digest it, you’d probably have to go to the hospital to get it removed from your stomach.

@@stephybabs3233 Maybe you are unsure about how animals are slaughtered. First, the animal is stunned with either electricity to the brain or knocked unconscious so they feel no pain. Then it is killed by cutting the throat, and allowed to bleed out. At this point the animal is dead. Then it is butchered, which takes a few hours. Then the head is stripped of all the skin and meat. This is where this video begins, showing the butcher removing the brain after the animal has already been dead for several hours. Nothing "moved" in this video, and no animal felt any pain.
