First game reminds me recently dreamhack's heromarine vs maru. Heromarine was ahead in everything, but Maru went as a spear hitting the soft-spot of a heavy-armor.. and GG.

I know this is a TvT and not TvZ but I’m a big Byun fan and don’t understand his decisions sometimes. One thing I think he should try and have never seen him do is open 2 rax reaper and go up to 8-10 reapers constantly pressuring the Zerg like he’s so good at. However I think he should be getting a factory third and either reactor it or start pumping helions to support as a follow up. His reaper pressure usually forces the Zerg to go lots of lings to defend without much tech and a four helions with the 8-10 reapers should be able to do a lot of damage. What do you think? Any reason no one does that?

2 rax reaper opening means you are behind on tech, if you are going 2 rax before expand then you are also severely behind on economy. If you make a lot of hellions and reapers then your 3rd cc and Factory and Starport are further delayed. The Zerg also have a blank check to scout your base. All the Zerg has to do to counter are spotting overlords, more queens and eventually Roach ravager. Basically, if Terran doesn't do massive damage with that build then he is severely behind comes the mid game. Your proposed build is similar to the various Hellbat pushes that Terran used to do, Zerg has basically figured out how to beat them comprehensively.

@@minhucovu6321 I get the falling behind in tech but a factory is necessary for tech and helions only cost 100 minerals each and are good at defending ling counters. The hellbat push you’re referring to is different as terrans go marines and normal 1 1 1 build into hellbat which also allows Zerg to tech and expand.. byuns early reaper harass keeps zergs are two base with no tech and only mass lings to defend with a few queens.. following up with 2-4 helions with that pressure is very different

@@wilsonchan1343 Reaper got nerf after what Byun did years ago, so its very hard to do what you said now, aka controlling the map with pure Reapers. Thats the role of Helion nowadays in TvZ. Also, I dont think its easy to keep the Zerg on 2 bases long enough, so it might not even worth it comparing to a economy build with early 3rd CC from Terran.
