Thanks, hero, for seeing that a 3 base toss is very powerful at 60-66 probes. Start fights to keep zerg honest and transition gracefully to t3 unita and more probes. Gg wp

2:00 I recall Black Ops 2 had a game mode similar to what is being described here. It's a shame they never tried to expand and refine it in future CoDs or standalone games. It was pretty rough, but I thought there was a lot of potential in it.

Maybe the mineral timing for the 15 overlord now being more optimal has to do with the new mining tricking to avoid decceratoon? That’s my bronze league opinion anyway.

Watched Rotterdam cast this game and he said Serral hasn't lost a ZvP since 2023. Hero is the first Protoss in over a year to beat Serral. Amazing given how inconsistent Hero is, and yet his raw killer instinct goes such a long way in making up for his technical deficiences. Much like Dark really. Makes you wonder how good they could really be if they had more solid mechanics behind their inspired and unpredictable plays.

I absolutely agree with the sentiment that they have patched the fun out of the game. Specifically TvZ has been super frustrating to watch. They gave the widow mine 5 different nerfs specifically for PvT and it's kinda ruined the matchup. You can't play without aoe and they pretty much decided that the choice between mines and tanks is not there anymore. Tanks every game means defending every game as Terran and it's removed the variety. Before that nerf we saw 8 raxes, insane 2 base all ins, BC mech, and an incredible bio ghost style that Clem pioneered. Since the mine nerf we've lost all of that. While BC mech isn't there because Zergs just got better at beating it, losing everything else can be pointed straight at the mine nerf. 8 raxes are still there but when they are played they are played with tanks and we rarely see the exciting multiprong tug of wars with it. How is Terran supposed to attack when Zergs can eat double the mines to the face but Terran still lose the game on one baneling connection with the main army. TvZ has been horribly slow paced and boring all because Protoss players were frustrated about mine drops. Now I can't even remember a single macro game since the nerf where Terran hasn't built a tank.
