I got back into playing Starcraft 2 since my days of Brood War and all of PiGs videos have helped me find my footing with builds and tactics. I'm hovering at 1800 mmr so low Silver, but PiG was so right about picking two goals to tackle! Last week i promised not to use the directional buttons for camera use, this week im trying to learn using camera locations and tighten up my CloakBanshee (atm they are hitting hard at five minutes its SO FUN) and im telling you guys PiG probably has every race for us to learn if we want to ! glhf ill see yall at Ladder 😂

I am sorta like you but I suggest playing pvp because you can practice all you want but when you first start pvp you will fall apart from the stress of multitasking and trying to remember a build

@@D4RKMA7TER this is also true. I started learning his builds on ladder. You just have to be fine with loosing-a lot. Let go of the eco cause then you start getting it and start winning! Of course that’s not the time to get an ego either cause you’re going to get smashed eventually. Come back here and watch another vid ;p

Concerning camera locations, beginners should be learning camera locations early anyway imo, and I’m glad you’re showing them. It’s one of those things that’s like ‘oh, it’s this additional complicated thing you’re adding to my game, I don’t want to deal with that’ but the reality is it’s the opposite- it makes life sooo much easier. So if you’re a newbie and aren’t using camera locations yet… give it a shot. Seriously. Once you get it down it’s like a gigantic QoL update for the game.

Really wish it was something I worked on early on. I'm d3/d2 and still don't use them and I try but it's hard to rewrite a decade of instincts and muscle memory

Thanks to Pig I use them only because the way he explained it in bronze2gm Terran first episode. It makes it not complicated at all, and makes the game so much better

My problem with camera locations is I get disoriented using them, I get confused which base I'm looking at. Also the Function keys are not really convenient to press.

@@RaphaelDallas so what i did was rebound them to shift+f1-f9 u stead of ctrl, ever since I did that its much easier for me to reach. As far as getting disoriented.... that goes away quickly the more you use it, because of muscle memory. What I would do is just get used to ur main location, production location, and natural location. Once you're used to those 3, you'll find yourself pressing the buttons without even thinking about it, force yourself to use cam location and once those 3 come natural, keep adding one rinse and repeat. Also take guides as a "guide", edit it to your needs like what works for YOU, I hope this all helps/motivates

The Platinum 3 game! I was up against a blink stalker rush (albeit low gold high silver) while I was playing your “2-1-1 with big push at 7m30” build and I was well prepared. Great builds, easy and approachable for a Zerg main! Thanks Pig!

Maybe this is a silly question but i can not find an answer yet, how do you command yours unit to cross the map the way you can do multiples orders in line, like when you command to move to right then front then there and is draw a line command, please help me

Hi pig, Thanks for all the videos, I'm starting to play and I've followed your advice, it only gets complicated sometimes when the game gets longer and the carriers arrive, how do I eliminate them? I'm a protoss player I have tried blink on stalkers but against 8 or 9 carries it is impossible please help

Carriers are harder and harder to beat the more of them there are. 8 carriers is about when they start to get unmanageable (trust me as a Zerg main) so you might think about a build you can do that focuses on a sharp timing at a point in the game BEFORE they can get the carriers up. Your aim would be to kill them with the timing attack, OR do enough damage so that their carriers are slowed.

haha don't expect it to work instantly. It takes a lot of practice and time to get to the calm controlled level that I'm at. For now just focus on hitting your build really tight and try to follow the set plan. You'll mess it up a bunch but that's part of the process, just load the replay and check what you missed, then fix it next time. Gl hf mate!

@@N1ckvan1oon plat players that don’t even cheese, a plat player who actually has some idea how to cheese would be a better reflection. A normal plat macro player wouldn’t just randomly try a cheese build with absolutely no knowledge on how to execute.

I got 2100 following b to gm and then last like 12 games all cheesey rushes squashed me down to 1900 not one real game in days

Rough run mate! Just remember each rush is an opportunity to learn how to react and adapt to it. Make sure you watch those replays and check you're hitting your basics just right. Good luck!

wtf is this? silver player try to cheese and yoor APM is fkig insane. nobody in gold can micro its units and be perfect with macto at the same time. and you somehow handle pritty well... gold players bank up at teast 2k mnerals. If you want to continue macro under presure then ignore the presure.. then you lose to the first push.. I tried that multiple times.. many times.. many many times.. dont listen to those masters... try playing at your own level and figure out what is most important. So... for me is macro at first few minutes.. and in the middle of the game and late game its how you controll the army. becauses if you dont pay attention = you lose. If you dont pay atention for few seconds (crusial seconds) = you lose because you were macroing. And it takes more than 5 seconds to order units to build and build depos. because you also must think about army composition.

I didn't end up playing that slow because I was figuring out exactly what I wanted to teach whilst I showed the response, to show the bare minimal response in terms of build changes. That's the important thing to copy from this video.
