UPDATE: The cyclone is is now a tech lab produced unit so the TvP build doesn't work. You can still build a cyclone for safety if you want or do a 4 marine + 1 cyclone drop, but it will adjust the build a little

I've never really done proxies. The four gate proxy has been a real learning curve!

Played my placement games using roach/hydra, won 4 and got placed silver 1, every game since has been vs Plat or Diamond players. 😢

After beating Elite AI regularly, I tried the ladder. Bronze 1. SMH I'm really surprised PiG won anything going that slow and talking us through it. IDK how the ladder was 2 years ago, but you'd get slaughtered doing that today.

How is he chronoboosting the core and gateway with only one nexus?

This series has been very helpful in improving my play. I placed somewhere in Bronze last season and recently made it to Gold 3. But the real satisfaction comes from successfully executing my macro cycle to the degree that it becomes automatic. I used to be very vulnerable to early-game harrassment, but now I just move (or a-move if needed) the SCVs, target down the intruders, and continue the build. I also tended to turtle a lot and lose to late game builds, but now I finish Stim and push around the 8-minute mark, do or die. Thanks PiG for such effective instruction!

I found very usefull to set all the camera location at the start of the game instead of setting them one by one during the game

what constitutes a 2 base all in and how does it have an advantage? Do you just stop building SCV's at 44 to get that slight edge in army supply?

I'm an older gentleman/trash player but still trying to improve. Protoss storms were totally wrecking my army and I've been searching for answers. This video hit it on the head, "don't be a dumbass and sit there in a clump and react after the storms and feedbacks." I'm guilty of that lol Thank you PiG.

Most frustrating thing for me having been hard stuck at D3 for years, aside from my hilarious lack of consistency, is that people's builds are so haphazard that I can't read them at all, yet I'm not good enough to punish them for being sub-optimal.

About your comment on Dragonball: imagine, my girlfriend's first sight of Naruto was when he puked a crow out of his mouth XD She didn't want to watch the show afterwards but I convinced her still and it became one of the best shows she had ever watched. She rewatched it from begining to end 3 times since then. Been watching these videos and learning a lot, still a terrible player 😅 but I’m actually winning some!! My build order isn’t great just yet but muscle memory is getting better so it’s a lot of practise and repeat right now.. thanks heaps for the videos 👍👍

This series has been amazing so far. I’ve been in platinum/low diamond for quite a while playing off and on, but I’ve learned so much from even watching bronze through gold so far! Can’t wait to work my way through the rest of the series and see how much I improve from this.
