Aloha Jacob! Almost 15,000 cases of Covid-19 in Tennessee, 247 deaths, 6783 recovered, Sevier county(Pidgeon Forge), 65 confirmed with virus, 48 recovered, 2 deaths, low numbers, but even one death is too high. Having people gather in one place, despite social distancing and other measures that the park is doing, is truly a way of tempting fate, especially after people have had to sacrifice so much to get those numbers down, just think its a few weeks still too SOON for them to open.....

Thank you for showing us Pigeon Forge as it opens up. I know that most people were waiting for things to start opening up. I’m not sure how I feel about it, not that I don’t want it to happen. I’m just concerned that a lot of people will think that everything is back to “normal” and we’ll see an increase in cases.

Yep not everyone has sense like you and l, It will get bad again here some not so fun facts about this virus , it causes fibrosis of the lungs , permanent back pain , and just yesterday was told that it is causing brain damaging hypoxia some are having blood oxygen saturation levels below 50% and here's the kicker no one gets immunity do I even have to say what that will do This is my limited knowledge of this not pretty is it, if you don't have a garden plot already I'd suggest making one better to make your own food then go hungry

Wes Brackman the RC enthusiast Yes, people living in urban, tenant-style apartments need to start raising chickens, cows, and setting up gardens. That definitely won’t create all kinds of possibilities for new diseases in the future, not to mention your landlord and neighbors will love it. SMH...

@TheCarpetbagger I love your channel. Now, my country is still on lockdown. But once things are open, I was thinking of vlogging some of the tourist attractions here in northern Ireland. Including titanic Belfast (voted the worlds best tourist attraction), and some of the filming locations from Game of Thrones.

Nice to see some things opening back up! Also that claw machine for the beats is a good example of "win amount" claws. It will keep track of how much money has been spent on the machine before it will actually keep the claw tight on an object. Pretty common in claw machines here in the US. Some of the ticket games also have similar programing!

“These trying times”, “Slow the spread”, “Phased Re-Opening”, “Personal Protective Equipment” (PPE), “Re-agent”, “Essential (aka. expendable) Workers”, “First Responders”, “Supply Chain Disruptions/Shortages”, and just the terms, “Coronavirus/COVID-19” have been used to death throughout this journey through widespread human insanity. The only thing I know for sure is our corporate overlords couldn’t crank out the acronyms and generic catch phrases fast enough.
@KayFabe874 жыл бұрын
Jimmie: I am on board with you. It may seem like a minor point, but we need to outright reject allowing this terminology to become part of lexicon. It is only a "new normal" if we allow it to be. This so-called "new normal" should be as temporary as possible because it is simply not sustainable. Even 'social distancing' as a 'norm' should be rejected. I am not saying we should wantonly violate others' personal space, but we need to get over this manufactured fear that passing within 6' of someone will automatically lead to a hospital stay or a possible death sentence. Life is not without some level of risk. There is no politician or "public health official" who can guarantee you a risk-free existence. To expect otherwise is pure folly. If you are afraid; stay home and continue to weaken your immune system, but don't demand that everyone else acquiesce to your fear. Perhaps the government should shut down all highway travel until it can be "guaranteed" that no one will ever die in a fatal car accident. Otherwise; a speed limit of 5 MPH will be mandated everywhere at all times. It will absolutely reduce fatal accidents and save lives, but is it practical and without consequence? Hardly.
@nosilverharbinger4 жыл бұрын
@@KayFabe87 On your later point, people have traveled at around 5 MPH for far, far longer than they have been able to travel any faster than that, and guess what? They are all dead and gone now. They also had to deal with outbreaks of illnesses that killed people at much higher percentages than this particular virus. They had no good treatments, no understanding of things we take for granted like the germ theory of disease, yet they got through it. On your earlierr point, I happen to agree. We have all heard the many arguments brought up for why things have to be the way they are, and why they need to remain that way for some indeterminate amount of time. I guess it is going to happen regardless of what I have to say or think about it, but if I'm honest I really didn't like things the way they were before this all happened. People just seemed to really distrust and not like each other before. They just lived their lives staring at their phones constantly, and seemed to only want to have something to do with someone else they didn't know if they could exploit them in one way or another. In general, and again just being honest, people were so self-centered that it was repulsive to me. So, if this pandemic leads us to a "new normal" where that aspect of us diminishes even slightly I'd be elated with it, but something tells me that erecting barriers between us everywhere we go, and staying even more isolated from each other isn't going to achieve that result. If anything it is only going to make a terrible problem we already had even worse.
