Just the other day I was trying to describe to my mother, who didn’t go on it with us, how cheap and dark it was, and why it scared me so bad at the time. I think the cheapness of the animatronics made it much scarier for me. My younger sister absolutely lost her mind at the end with the snake, poor thing :( Gotta show this video to my mom though so she can see what I was talking about!

That joint could really use a tune-up. I think they have the ability to make something kinda nice out of it, but it'll take some money to make it look like a real ride, but they'd make it all back. It could go a long way with just some of that Vantablack-ish paint/fabric in certain places where they just have regular black paint. Messes with your depth perception and doesn't reflect any light. That would even work in the front room, there around the ceiling.

I personally like this ride, sure, it has its flaws and it may not be as high quality as the original Jurassic Park ride it was based on or any dark ride in general, but it's still very enjoyable and a great thing to have around for those young and old to experience. If it was really that bad, it would have shut down by now, but I can tell that all the money paid for the attraction goes into helping to maintaining it and its animatronics alongside acquiring new ones along the way to make things more interesting, unlike most tourist traps which don't even care, this one at least puts in the time and effort to entertain you, so I wouldn't necessarily consider this a tourist trap or the worst attraction out there. People are free to disagree with me and that's perfectly fine, but imo, this attraction is a cult classic that deserves to be cherished in may people's memories and I hope it stays around for many years to come

I am a huge Jurrasic Park fan. I own every one of the movies, and with that being said, I was really hoping for a lot more action from the dinosaurs along with more over the top sound affects. Sure it seemed a little cheesy, but to keep it family friendly without scaring the pants off the younger ones, I suppose they had to keep it somewhat tame. My dad and I went on this many years ago. Around when it first opened. I remember they had some kinda issues before we got on and when we got to the end the boat we were in actually started lifting up off the tracks and there was a layer of fog above us and it legit felt like we were going to get smooshed against the roof. Which I guess was the idea of something coming under and flipping the boat but with the issues prior it scared us that something was wrong. Needless to say even at that time it wasnt the best of rides and I remember my dad was a bit disappointed because most of the big stuff was on his side. Which I believe he was on the left side. Sad to see where it is now. Lots of stuff not even moving, its not like they arent pullin in good money to fix things up or to bring in something better

When comparing to other 'single' attractions like this $21 isn't bad. But that doesn't mean I think it's worth it lol. Like that mountain coaster, the price is outrageous, but it's not 'bad' considering the cost of similar attractions. I guess they have to make their money somehow, but they could all offer something more for your buck. The mountain coaster for example, that price should guarantee you more than one ride, the cost of giving you 1 ride is no more than 2 or 3 or 4 rides even... Giving you 1 measly ride only, seems greedy to me. They got land, they can do trails and picnic areas too on top of it. There's plenty more they can do for value without increasing costs... I avoid these kinds of attractions, I think they're all outrageous, considering a ticket to Cedar Point or an amusement park is like $50-60 for the whole day. You are definitely getting your money's worth there. Idk... maybe I'm cheap 😆

Pigeon Forge underwent new attractions in between our visits which was exciting but then even they kinda stagnated off. Gatlinburg was the real disappointer though. Place almost seemed frozen in time. Not one thing notably new and I wouldn’t be shocked if that were still the case. You got the Ripleys museum, the Star Cars, the subway ride, Indiana Jones mini golf. Used to have the optical illusion place. Ofc Cooters on the way there. They really need to overhaul it and make it exciting again. Out with the old and in with the new
