Awesome Job and Accomplishment... I am still trying to move my kit boxes to the new place. So I been going back to my old place to feed the birds that are there. So Far I built a Double Kit box. Trained and already lost about 14 birds by being chased and or caught by BOP. Soon I will rent a trailer to get the kit boxes and figure out if I should Demo the old small loft or build something new. Just renting so cant make a decision. God Bless Brah. Enjoy the Therapy..

I don't know how windy it gets there, but I wouldn't recommend putting a 1x on your cage there for holding your main door. One big gust of wind and it could wreck your pen. Better off using a length of chain that can wrap around the door handle and snap to itself. Anchor it to the frame of the wall under your window. Another option is a drop rod and a small length of pipe that is driven into the ground. Nicely done all the way around though!
@redstarloft52114 жыл бұрын
Yea youre absolutely right. I reconsidered that idea after having the door slammed on me in the loft a couple of days ago. I think i might go the drop rod route. Thanks for the help!

@@ciansimpson3550 yea i started out with a few different kinds of pigeons but i quickly learned no pigeon comes close to the racing pigeon so i put all my focus on those and i just plan on going forward with those and racing next year. Thanks for the kind words and support, it means a lot 👍

Looks real good brother, cant wait for the aviary to see the birds out in the sun. One word of advise, keep them off the window, they'll crap in the rail and you wont be able to open the windows anymore. I had to learn that the hard way lol. Looks super, I bet my birds are loving it lol

I will say one thing. That screen wire can be torn through by almost any varmint or cat. Even a bird can go through it. You may want to install wire in place of. Otherwise, great loft. I bet you're happy.
@redstarloft52114 жыл бұрын
Yea ive had a couple people recommend that as well so i think soon enough i will switch it out with the more heavy duty stuff. Didnt even think about it before since my old setup had the entire front top to bottom covered in that wire and nothing ever got torn
