Pigments are a great way to add colour and detail to your models, and in this video, BJ shows off his collection of Vallejo pigments!
He starts by demonstrating how to apply the pigment directly to the model, and then he shows how to create a wash with pigment and water. He also shares some tips on how to blend different colours of pigment to create new shades. Finally, he shows how Pigment can be used to create realistic effects like rust and metal flakes. Correct! That is what we used to do before powered pigments became available. Pastels from the art store ground into a powder with fine sand paper.

i dont want to sound like a total idiot but i cant figure out how to open the Vallejo pigment pots😂 when i push down and twist the lids like the diagram shows they just click and it dont open. ive tried pushing down really hard and it still doesnt budge. Whats the way to do it? Or are my pots just stuck or something? Thanks

They are childproof. Just push down, hold down and turn.
