@Iloveyoursmile Honesty 10 lbs is about the least you would want if you plan on wearing it constantly, your body will very quickly adapt to the added weight and then you will have to go heavier to actually get the gains you are looking for. Hyper wear has a vest that can also be worn under a t shirt that goes up to 30 lbs, I started off the the vest I linked and then moved up to the hyper wear fully loaded, I would go even heavier but it quickly becomes very bulky and really viable to live in day to day.

Like I said on your first dunk video, I really think you can already grab the rim, even with both hands if you wanted to. You have the pop needed but your run up is off. The jumping footage is a great way to see it, your last stride is way smaller than the previous one, it should be the other way around. If you break down the movement, dunking is actually more like jumping twice, the last stride is more of a long jump where you gather your center of mass by stay low, this is how you get the most out of "blocking", then you explode to reach the rim. The first part, called penultimate step is actually the hardest part. Try this, go to the rim and start with the final stride, try to make it low, fast and long, you have to really dig your blocking foot in the ground to convert momentum in height. Once this is fine tuned, add the run up. Start with long stride for instant momentum, then a few acceleration steps into the penultimate step. I really want to see you dunk so I hope this helped ;) Here's a better explanation if needed: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eGLEkmBojJmbiKM
@Six_Gorillion2 ай бұрын
I also studied the footage for quite some time and can conclude he's just not jumping high enough to grab the rim. It's quite clear once you know a little bit about the science behind jumping and you look closelyer at the footage.

I wore ankle weights and wrist weights(2.5 pounds each for a total of about 10 pounds) for two years straight during junior high school (only really took them off when bathing or washing my hands, I even slept in them). It made me pretty strong and if I wanted a boost in my sports performance I would take them off and have godlike speed and power(I'm exaggerating but that's what it felt like and it was a definitely noticeable increase in performance, reminded me of when Rock Lee first removed his weights in that episode of Naruto) for 10 minutes until I got used to being lighter(then I would just put them back on). I may buy those weighted clothes, I still wear the weights but not 24/7 anymore because it's uncomfortable. Cool video!
@parker63014 ай бұрын
Hey bro, love the video but I know you can jump higher than that. Your step into your jump needs to be like a longer stride, and you need to get lower. The longer stride combined with getting lower will for sure, without a dought, make you jump higher, but you gotta focus.

Been waiting for this one since I saw that comment. I wonder if the "lightness" you feel after taking them off is similar to the "heaviness" you feel when you try to jump after being on a trampoline. Don't worry about other people comparing you to themselves, only compare you to YOU! I respect a weak dude who say, benches nothing but the bar, doubling their strength from hard work, more than someone who just has natural strength and benches 300lbs. PR is the game. I read a study like 10 years ago where martial artists practice sidekicks with ankle weights for a week or two, and compared to a control group, their sidekick actually got slower and less powerful. They wound up practicing worse body mechanics because they had to compensate for the weight. Seems like the same thing happened with your jump.
