Have you ever used the suckers for bait like cut up or anything? I’ve wondered if they would do anything
@danielcannaday22073 жыл бұрын
The suckers do work well for cut bait and if you can catch a small enough one they work good for Live bait for catfish. But I personally think bluegill or crappy make the best cut bait or live bait along with shad or herring

My only same fish story. A friend and I were fishing a local pier. He hooked up and broke off. Less than a minute later, I got bit. Reeled in a nice mangrove snapper and it had a “bleeding” hook (the only kind my friend used) hooked In The side of its mouth. The probability that it was the fish he just hooked is so high that it has since convinced me that a hooked fish will definitely bite again soon after. Great video as always. But I’m not sure speeshi’s is the correct term lol.

Josh, I couldn't believe that you didn't keep those suckers. You may think they are too big to use for live bait,but you would be wrong. If your looking for biiiiggg flatties,keep those suckers alive,in a bait well,big hook,and get ready. Even keep the big suckers,cut em up for cut bait,channels blues,wipers and many others can't resist em.Its a flatties natural bait forage. Make a bait tank at your house,seek out monster suckers and fish them live, on bottom at places you know hold big flatties.
