The MOST INSANE Fishing I've Ever EXPERIENCED!!! (Absolute Madness)

I'm not much of a morning person, but.. There are a couple fish that will get me up at 5 in the morning to go fishing. Number one, flathead kitty dongs. Number 2, wipey dipeys. We set out to the underwater spillway in search of anything, but had our sights set on one of these two. We didn't need much to be happy, but.. Some of the most epic fishing I've ever experienced took place that morning. I'm glad I got up. PAAA POWWW!!!

There’s nothing like when u find one of those spots that’s just pure fishing magic! There is a small lake out here that’s surrounded by private land that nobody lives on so nobody fishes it and for years we thought there was no fish in it. Well a buddy of mine had family who owned land on the lake so we threw a canoe in and oh my lord…..it was filled to the brim with 3-5 pound large mouth bass that would bite on anything and everything u threw at them. It was the most fun summer of fishing ever but it almost ruined fishing for me because nothing else will ever compare to that lake that year. Sadly we had a record long cold winter and everything froze out and has never recovered, but the memories we had out there will last a lifetime!!

The skyway piers in Tampa Florida used to be like that just amazing fishing for almost everything not as good anymore due to pressure and dilapidation

Next time they are going crazy like that just try a white fluke with a size 4 hook. No weight just twitch it across the top of the water like a injured Shad or shiner. It's a pretty fast working top water approach but it's effective as shit lol

There long and skinny because they are a school of roaming fishing, constantly on the move looking for food or following schools of bait fish. Same as most species of river fish that are always fighting the current. Great video, they do look fun to catch!! Hope you and the Fam are all doing great!!

I've had days like this in saltwater. It's gotten to a point where you could just throw a bare hook and catch them. Pelagic fish are just about always hungry because they're always on the move and burning energy.

They were completely legal fish guys. And I might add some of the best tasting fish! If it makes you guys feel better there was 10 boats in the same spot fishing at the same time as us, and we were the only ones catching them! #babykillers

You should do a catch and cook on wiper, they’re pretty damn good cooked in butter with lemon pepper on a bed of rice! Honestly one of the cleaner tasting fish there are when you cut out the blood line.

I've got a spot for wipers. Got to love them cause they choose violence when they hit. They put up a hell of fight in current or heavy flow. Been getting some on top water and they will jump out the water after the bait.

My opinion on the wipers being thin , is that they are a high energy fish that require lot's of feed to maintain their weight. Maybe the freshwater feed they eat doesn't provide the protein and calories they require. Just a thought. Proud of you knucklehead for having the guts to go out and chase your dream , I did it 40 years ago and it wasn't easy but wouldn't change a thing. Good luck to you young man!!!

I think wiper sometimes gets skinny for the same reason white bass stunt. They are voracious predators that run in schools and sometimes they sort of out compete each other, pick the place clean and some get skinny.
