Considering that Paul Dini wrote Batman TAS and the Arkham games (up until Knight) it's possible he wrote the story for Batman Arkham, and eventually approached WB and Rocksteady with the old idea.

Justice league Antarctica? I wasn't aware Antarctica had such a high crime rate that it needed its own brand of costumed vigilante heroes - let alone for them to need to team up into a Justice league to keep up with the no doubt countless really big threats emerging from the heart of the largest desert in the world, the South Pole. Then again... Antarctica does have a rather large coastal population of Penguins, so it may just be the biggest part of said criminal's empire. So I can see how you need someone to run in and stop the Penguin when they get up to no good, bothering and harassing the five thousand or so odd researchers and other personal who spend time over there during the summer, and the under a thousand who are there during the long winter period. Cause I would imagine winter in Antarctica is bad enough without being subjected to a band of marauding, merciless Penguins waddling up to attack you in order to rob you of your sardine sandwiches.

The whole military subplot was actually the Star labs subplot that was actually in the final film and Ryan Reynolds was considered briefly but Ryan declined and WB said they had plans for Green Lantern down the road (they didn’t and they still don’t) and that he couldn’t use him here Zack shot the scene with Wayne T Carr as John Stewart in secret and they still wanted to cut it.

Funny thing about the Bat Burgers; a few years ago in ASDA (the UK equivalent to WalMart) they sold burger patties in the style of Batman logos, alongside Superman and Wonder Woman logos. Despite not getting to try them myself unfortunately I’ve heard they were actually pretty good, though the Batman ones were apparently too long for burger buns so people just put them in hot-dog buns instead.

Maxie is a really underdeveloped villan. Not only does Greek mythology has a LOT of stuff to pull from to expand his character (how he never got some higher-ups masquerading as rhe rest of the Gods is beyond me) but WW and Zues exist in the DCU! What is his relationship with Diana? Does he consider her his daughter too or claim her to be a phony? Would meeting the actual Zeus snap him out of his delusion, or even cause him to fracture even more into the Roman Jupiter? Why does Zeus, a god with the biggest Ego known in mythology, allow this one dude to continue living masquerading as him? Honestly I've always wanted to see a storyline about him delving into animal trafficking, but with mythological creatures. Imagine Maxie getting a Manticore hyped on Venom and sticking it on Bats, that would be awesome!

It's sad how suicide squad kill the justice league turned out imo. If you do a third one, please include the 2004 short fan film Grayson created by John Fiorella. It was a self-funded film done like a trailer that acts like a dark sequel where Batman is killed (or is he?) and an older Dick Grayson has to find out who did it. There's actually a screenplay and revised draft of it out there, plus a behind the scenes video for the film trailer. It's pretty amazing for a shoe string budget.
