Just add on if speed is less than 20 he can apply break but if it's more than it it can cause huge fatal accident so for that reason fast speed loco pilot even if want he can't apply break

Also the owner of the pigs is irresponsible in letting them run loose on the train tracks. Implement the locomotives with special sirens to be heard by animals more than by humans so that they perceive danger more easily from afar.

once a superfast Shatabdi hit a neelgai in UP near Murad Nagar and the body parts of the huge animal were stuck in the parts of the wheel assembly and motors. They had to clean the train for more than 1 hour before the Shatabdi could run till New Delhi. Like a plane having a BIRD HIT.

It's Alive and kicking no doubt ! It's a multiple set up where the leading loco is synchronised with the second one totally, controlling and using its power and braking completely. Only one set of crew in the leading loco run the two locos.
