Well this has to be one of the easiest air fryer recipes for Christmas. You can make Pigs in Blankets in your air fryer in a snip!
They say the simplest things in life bring the most pleasure - who'd have thought a piece of bacon wrapped around a small sausage could bring so much joy! Pigs in blankets just taste like 'Christmas'. They're so simple, yet they're an important part of the traditional British Christmas dinner.
A piece of bacon wrapped around a sausage doesn't sound terribly sophisticated, but my pimped up sticky pigs in blankets will take things up a notch. They are delicious! The honey glazed and marmalade sticky pigs in blankets couldn't be easier, it's literally one extra ingredient brushed over for the final two minutes of cooking.
However, my maple and mustard sticky pigs in blankets are my absolute favourite - they have just the right amount of sweetness with just a little bit of heat. You'll stun your friends and family when you bring these out on Christmas Day!

Yes! The bacon will always contract and shrink, so stretching it helps to minimise the effect of this a little bit. It doesn't matter if they unravel a bit ...it all goes down the same way. 😁 Merry Christmas! 🎅🎄🎁

love the idea of the sticky coated ones for picky bits or brunch etc but being an old stick in the mud I’d prefer the original unadorned variety with my Christmas dinner! 😋😋

Well Rita, I'd only had plain ones for years ...and then I tried the maple and mustard! 😍 They were delicious. It's that combination of salty and sweet ...and I think the mustard gives them that slight edge. 😋 I guess it's a bit like cranberry sauce with turkey, honey roast ham or apple and pork - It's that sweet/savoury combination that I like. 😋 Anyway, it's nice to have options! 😁 I like to put them on the buffet table or as a snack too! 🤩😋

Maple and mustard? Not thought of that combination before. I do honey and Dijon among others to complement the main or as nibbles. Simple but always delicious.
