Can you hover the heat press over the shirt and cure that way? Kind of similar to a flash dryer. When printing on 100% Polyester this may eliminate press marks.

Flex ink needs a higher temperature and time to cure than the original Speedball ink, I’m not sure if it would get hot enough to totally cure the ink that way. That’s an interesting idea and may be worth trying out. I’m testing out a few different hacks that may be helpful- keep an eye out for those

Which ink do you like better ? 👀 regular or the flex speedball ink

It depends on the project, shirt color, and look I’m going for. If I want a really bold color or I’m using a stretchy material- Flex is the way to go. For a vintage looking white or metallic- I’ll grab the original fabric ink.

How soon after printing the design do you recommend washing the shirt? And what are your recommendations for washing it?

It’s best to wash the clothes first and then I do the whole process

Once the ink has been cured/heat set, you can wash it right away. I always wait to wash my shirts until after I’ve cured the ink.

I’m still getting some bleeding. What do you think about squeezing a thin layer of Mod Podge fabric before painting?
