I felt pretty crushed after my game, I was coming back from maining toss to playing zerg again and always had problems with fighting mech as zerg, and panicked pretty hard. And yeah, you perfectly summed it up with me just trying anything against mech and at the end just being broken, especially after I think I threw the game multiple times. That it got cast by pig though makes me feel a lot better, and worth going through it, thanks so much for casting! :D and gg wp florencio (Also my name is short for Snek von Pessimism, von being indeed a german noble title)

66 drones minimum, 4-5 bases, THEN throw roach ravager at any expansion they try and take. Tech to neural infestors or vipers. You can also just mass swarm host if they’re really set on tank turret planetary turtling. Dont do this vs battlemech or Thor Hellbat spam as the locusts get roasted. Mutas vs Terran is a gamble on your skill cause Terran has so much fantastic AA

I must say that I really like your positive demeanor. You must be a pretty cool guy irl. As for the game, I'll just leave you with a few reminders if you find yourself in a similar situation again: - Always be mindful about not "chucking a Zerg" (throwing the game by headbutting desperately into an entrenched position). The moment you start getting diminishing returns; STOP, assess the situation and keep up the macro. Exploit your map control by expanding and scouting. - The Overlord/Overseer speed upgrade is always a good thing to have. The scouting info will calm down that (often unfounded) "I'm behind!, I must do damage!" urge, and allow you to refocus on your next step. Cheers mate! Have a good one and keep up that attitude!

Damn, PiG! You have been skipping classes at Florencio's School for Kids that don't want to Macro™ and it is really showing! In the first game, the mistake was the timing of the Evo chamber; not its placing. If Flo had waited a few seconds, the blockade would have messed the drone's pathing when clicked to the natural to evacuate, making them run through the Spine's gauntlet and forcing a more panicked and chaotic response. It would have been obvious if you weren't such a lazy student of the Sciences.

Florencio was just floating a billion minerals. If instead of having 600 in the bank he would have put down a hatchery and made a queen and then started droning up as soon as it was clear the spine would fall, he'd be ahead.

I feeel like Florencio is like the Ruff of the diamond 1-3 bracket but 1000 mmr lower (toss) 1500 mmr lower as (off races) Than Ruff who is around 4900 currently. They both play unorthodox, they both have MICRO ABOVE the mmr they are at, but they both have MACRO BELOW the mmr they are at. But since micro and unorthodox player is more entertaining to watch compared to macro, both Ruff and Florencio are more entertaining to watch compared to a standard player playing at the same MMR. They both pull off weird and entertaining cheeses. Florencio just seems to cheese more and hidden base much more and Ruff (who although cheeses) tends to macro much more.
