I cast one of the mysterious and deranged StarCraft 2 builds of the one and only, Florencio, the dude that invented the Protoss proxy nexus recall rush. In this episode, the Sewer Mermaid has a very good strat that deals a lot of damage. But is it enough against such a good opponent?

The thing that really tells you how comprehensively playing against Flo demolishes your brain is that Nicholosso morphed one overseer until minute 40 in a game with mass nukes 😂 My personal falling apart usually happens in the classic way you mentioned where I get my economy damaged and instead of rebuilding all I can think of for the next ten minutes is building army and attacking 😄

First of all, FLORENCIOOOOOOOOOOO! Yeah! More florencio files! When my brain broke: I was playing low plat, and my opponent was rushing bcs. I had defended his first bc well, losing a 3 probes and forcing him to retreat. However, he trickled these bcs in, and I was confused, thinking, “What on earth is he doing?” By this time, I had several tempests, stalkers, and a mothership, and headbutted into turret planetary, lost my army, and left the game.

Real deal Florencio gives advice and takes advice. It’s been years but he worked with me through KZbin comments to improve a 3rax reaper build, where the second and third barracks were proxied at the third and fourth. It’s easy to make a ninja base with reaper pressure. Needing anti air lead to grabbing an eBay early on. It’s crazy to see how this all lead to floating a planetary into your opponent’s main and defending it with reapers. I’m gonna have to hop back on SC and proxy some cattlebruisers.

Amazing flo cast as always. My brain broke playing EverQuest when I was 9 years old and I somehow ran my very underleveled monk into the The Overthere and died. I had a full breakdown, crying and begging my brother to pay someone to go do a corpse run for me. Good times!

@@PiGstarcraft ^_^ i gotcha back broski i play WoW a lot but i've been on hiatus due to being super sick and i'm on USEast coast so the raiding times are hard (it was 4am but since daylights kicked it i think it might be 3am for me now so slightly easier to manage just have to get back on schedule with them). anyways, i love gaming with aussies. but NEVER underestimate the granny shot! you'd be surprised how many people i used to get while playing "HORSE" or "PIG" but then after puberty it was literally as if it was impossible for to make a single shot unless it was a weird one. like quarter court / half court shorts, behind the backboard shots, just weird ones but regular shots? no chance lmao

just recently played against the most elaborate turtle terran strat i have encountered yet (plat2). completely bamboozled me with a combination of mass raven harass and half a dozen bcs that were doing 200 iq double warp expansion sniping. while playing my mind was absoloutely fried and i had no idea how he could fly his bcs undetected past my defenses just to immediately warp away when my vikings arrived. although he was practically on one base and i had all the map i could not for the life of me break into his turtle encampment with 200 supply. we traded ressources almost three to one and i was almost leaving the game in frustration but after something short of an hour of mental breakdown i finally got his last bcs and he left.

hahaha around 19:50 - 20:00 ish when you said "starvin' marvin" --- i used to know a pot supplier decades ago when me and my best brother from another mother were skateboarders that was his nickname lmao. sadly i can't smoke ze ole hippy lettuce anymore cuz it's just too damn strong these days. unless it's pure indica strain, then it doesn't give me panic attacks/anxiety/paranoia/etc. if its 100% indica, all it does it make me happy, relaxed, couch locked, then i eat and sleep. impossible to get mad on indica lol if only the world's governments would stop this "war on drugs" because it is beyond corrupt. there's leaked files proving the US government flying HARDCORE drugs into the US on military planes as early as the 90s and 2000s, and then arresting people who get addicted to it. but i think something is brewing on the US-Mexico border on account of the fact that there's no true Mexican Government anymore.... it's just cartel controlled country that are basically DONE bending the knee to the US who even arrests them when they're relying on getting most of their narcotics. they'll arrest them for crossing the border arrest them for having guns, the same narcotics that the US government is buying. but this current cartel is making an army and they're DONE with the US doing them dirty. so not only am i worried about this newfound US-Russia stand off, but also worried about the US-Mexico stand off that's only heating up more n more each day. scary times we live in bro. that's why it's nice to watch your videos in which it takes my mind off the sick shit going on in the world and it cheers me up. so thank you heaps for being you and mainly being funny and uploading content i enjoy. i know you replied to my other comment on anothervideo regarding video editing and you actually have someone dedicated to editing your videos... i wish i could afford such a thing since yours also uses DaVinci Resolve. that means they're super good at what they do and I'll have to dedicate a couple weeks maybe a month or doing nothing but learning what everything does and can do on DaVinci. is there any way you'd be willing to put me in touch with your editor so i can ask them a question or two? so I can speed up my learning process and edit my own videos until i'm able to afford my own? i'm working on a playthrough of God of War (not ragnarok cuz that's no on steam and idk if they'll put it on PC/Steam like they did with the game that came right before). also working on walk through on dark souls 3 and once i get better at Elden Ring and so on, i'll do one of those. outside of that, i can record videos of WoW Raids/PvP/Mythic+ dungeons, MTG Arena Ranked, as well as perhaps some SC2. take care PiGBro!

He let himself in bad economy to let the other a chance and made it challenge but he was doing whatever looked fun to him and had control of the game most of the time. The Zerg player was simply stupid. I stopped cheering for him after the fifth nuke, the repeated attempt to use the same failed strategy, and the fact his army was always parked off to the west while his bases were being harassed... again, and again and again. There's no learning curve for a player that will run the same strategy for nearly an hour that failed in the first 10 minutes.
