Furoar could also be a latin nerd - the word "furor" (pronounced foo-roar iirc) roughly translates to rage or anger but can also refer to unrestrained emotions and the madness they can create. It would be a fun play on words. It would also be kinda fitting given what happened in these games lol

This is much more what I imagined their name to be initially. Having grown up learning German, the term Führer sounds very different to how I would pronounce FuRoar off the cuff, sounding much closer to furor like you mentioned. And that's not a term you'd even need to be a Latin nerd to pick up.

I'm german and it took me until 5:20 to understand that FuRoar is supposed to be a phonetic spelling for Führer. In german it's not even close. But yeah, if you mispronounce it like it's an english word, then maybe. Otherwise I can only repeat what I always say. You'd think players who constantly insult would be better at it.

The comment about mining out a map when this happens resonates with me. I have maxed the army, taken all bases, and started doing chores with wireless headphones on 100+ times to floating terran. Feels so good to be productive knowing your also making some cry baby rage harder. 99% of the time they come back within 5 minutes and try and land and restart like they have a chance.

Main reasons I stopped playing was encountered, cannon rushes 5/6 games every game, is different kind of frustration and anger and boredom mixed into..

The first game... after the meivac failure,, and hte early push... this si where high apm really count. So the medivacs would of picked up the siege tanks. Place in main, outside of hydra range, lift other bases pull scvs, change rally to bunker... try to keep natural, move scvs to main.. produce a few more tanks. This should be recoverable if the zerg keeps pushing and loses against the turtle terran so tis easy or shoudl be to recover, as soon as the zerg looks lie ktehir pulling back you need ot re fly the buldigns left down to make a wall and then make bunkers... make good defence on the thrid, keeping atleast 3 tanks on the cornerthat covers nat, and main and htird, if you cna keep that setup after the next wave, you should be able ot hit 200 supply, its not that he was behind he had moeny just couldn't produce fast enough for the money he had.

For me the feeling of helplessness usually triggers the worst rage. The worst trigger is when you get in TvP into the phase where you're supposed to attack with ghost-viking-bio into protoss. Its supposed to be powerful. I've seen it been powerful. Yet, every single goddamn time I do it, I attempt to move forward with ghosts to EMP, the second I see HTs every single unit in my army gets stormed before EMP lands. It's the most mentally devastating feeling I can think of.

I've seen pro players empty the HT energy before, pull back and then emp. Like protoss does with Zerg. Come closer, drain viper energy with HT, then pull back and go in again

For many years I was a big believer in skipping ghosts and going libs or just pure biomine medivac and doom drops since it's easier to micro than ghosts in frontal fights. Still think that's a better style for many players. Ghosts are great but just because you see people complaining about them doesn't mean they're easy to use!

@@PiGstarcraft biomine medivac would be my preferred style, it aligns how I like playing TvZ. The trouble is usually I avoid frontal fights to such a degree that protoss gets bored and a-moves on top my production. I know I'm doing it wrong but I just don't know how I'm supposed to do it.

I actually don't leave to untilt myself. I watch my army and buildings die, put macro hatches, sneak drones to a corner. Switch a strategy. It's funny how a lot of people like to give me a second chance to win. It's like once I remaxxed after getting completely destroyed by one guy. When I was maxed out again after like 15 minutes we faced each others and he won again. That stood to my mind that I lost, because he played better, not because he was 'lucky'. I don't leave the game untill there is no literal possibility in my mind, and that's almost never. Sometimes people tilt themselves by typing offensive GG, or even asking to GG. I'm like. Screw this, I decide when it's over if you don't want to!
