Having a lot of success including voltorb/electrode farfetched and eevee/jolteon with Pikachu EX. High pressure aggro. Cheap and easy to recover from a ko.

One time my Zapdos DX got 4 tails and lost the match because of that. Depending on coins really suck.

Raichu is definitely good, but you will decrease the number of basic pkmn in your deck. The burst that you get from Raichu is still very valuable tho, I think it can work

Nope, though that would be interesting. No exs have ever evolved to my knowledge unless by mega evolution or something like that, but there isn't anything like that in pocket yet.
