oh, way more than a millennium. skips go approximately from 5 minutes to 1 hour, 12 hours, 2 weeks, one year, maybe 430 years from half life of americium isotope in the fire alarm, maybe over 100,000 years, and so on. very roughly plotting this, we see the skips grow exponentially at 0.28 e^(2.8 x). Pikamee presses the button around 15 times. By the last press, each skip was over a trillion years; over 250 times the age of the universe. I'm estimating so it could be a lot less, but definitely several orders more than a million years.

I just took the time intervals and plotted them without much care and 1 trillion years was the final skip, but that's assuming the button follows an exponential growth, which it may not. In 2 billion years the sun would have indeed evaporated all oceans and all killed all life on earth, but the temperature outside would also be like 400 degrees, plus that room has no right surviving that long in either case. In the end, this is the steam reviews section of memory lane, who knows if this is earth.

I think that's the whole point of the joke. You're not supposed to press the skip button. If you do, you miss out on the whole emotional and existential aspect of this ending. My interpretation is that Wreden was subtly dunking on all the players who don't have the patience to sit still for 5 seconds and listen - people like Cookie9, who don't appreciate the comedy and just want to get through the game as fast as possible. You can tell what kind of player you're watching by how they interact with this ending.

The point is the exact opposite. You're not supposed to skip the dialogue. The people who do fundamentally don't understand the appeal of The Stanley Parable. The game is all about thinking "what happens if I do X" and seeing what the Narrator does in response. If you just skip the Narrator's dialogue, the game becomes pointless. To me, Pikame's reaction just shows that she's not paying attention and is completely disengaged from what the game is trying to communicate.

why did pikamee changed her avatar to that generic type? Is none of her fans ever tell her that her previous shark teeth avatar is more unique compare to the others? I do hope she change it back because this one looks super generic and it losses her only specialty compare to the other vtuber

Shark teeth are quite literally a by the book character trait, there is NOTHING unique to it

Pikamee helped design this one and is very proud of it. I mentioned in chat once that I liked both, but preferred the original one, and it kind of broke her heart, because she really loves the Isekai Pikamee design. I apologized, and explained I liked both, to which she acknowledged that she can understand why people have preferences, but that she was just expecting a better response from viewers to her new design. She does still switch back to her original look though too.

@@TheNonEdibleCheese What do you mean by Isekai Pikamee? She design it based on her irl look but in anime style? just like Kson? Well, I guess its fine then, maybe she is planning to do a face reveal someday and we wont be comparing her too much between her actual face and her avatar.

@@sorasky8 Isekai is a genre of novels, manga, and anime where a person is transported to another world. So Isekai Pikamee is like an alternate reality Pikamee. Hence why she'll still switch back to her original occasionally.
