Fascinating. When you turn the original into a piano-only version, it becomes more like pop-music than house music. This versions also seems tamer, like it is meant to be inserted some kind of fictional work. It sounds good.

That's an interesting take! Yeah I've been listening to some soundtracks from some games and VNs I've been playing, so might be some of that in there. The medium of a piano has some restrictions that a DAW doesn't, so I've found that adjusting the atmosphere of the song while retaining core identities makes a solid piano version.
