Another great video mate, that place is only a hour down the road from me. What a fantastic day you must've had there. That would be fish of a lifetime for a lot of people. She was fin perfect. And the scenery isn't too shabby either eh? Pike fishing in Scotland is really tough on the big lochs especially from the bank. They hold some huge fish but they are notoriously hard to catch. Chuffed for you that you had some good weather and a stunning fish in the net.

@lured by esox loch lomond is beautiful as well, it's a massive body of water with some proper monsters!! I would definitely advise going out on a boat, and get some local knowledge or a fishing guide that knows the loch would be even better. There's some big 30's in there and maybe still 40's. Pretty much everything in there grows big. 30lb salmon, 4lb plus perch 20lb plus trout, not sure but I think there's big Roach and bream in there as well. But it's tough fishing

@lured by esox it's an amazing place. There's a huge pikes head in the museum in Glasgow called the Endrick pike. It was discovered in the in a Marsh near the mouth of the river Endrick which flows into loch Lomond in the 1920's or 30's. It was HUGE. Goggle Endrick pike if you want more info on it🐊

Have you tried the bobber rig with sprats that can be a deadly method especially in marinas set the depth so its about 6 to 8inches off bottom cast towards the boats and let it trot down with the flow or wind 👍 you could try injecting a little bit of oil into the bait too that helps draw the pike to the bait we did a video on the bobber rig 👌🙂
