@@kellyscatch7971 Well done for sticking it out in those conditions, my girlfriend spent two weeks sleeping in the front of our car many many years ago when catfishing at Claydon but she wouldn't have spent the day on the bank in that cold and snow. Are you aware of the enviroment agency rule on a maximum of 10' between rods, if caught they could prosecute!

Well done my biggest pike was 27lb but it was from a stocked lake didn't put up much of a fight as well I prefer river pike as they go like a steam train lamprey my best bait as it never comes off keep up the good work nice to see a lot more women fishing

Hiya 27lb that's awesome!! I bet it was beautiful, my biggest 25lb is also from a lake, my biggest river pike is 21lb8oz on a drop shot rod fishing for perch so that was a pretty nail biting capture! Jig tied straight off to braided line. Lampray is a fab bait, i like a roach too. Good luck for the rest of the season. Tight lines. 💚

Yes they are my fav as well, i do love predator fish. My PB from a lake is 25lbs and from a river 21lb8oz, which was caught on a lure, my biggest river pike both come from lure fishing, i also had 18lbs on a lure from the river. I enjoy both lure and dead baiting, wobbling a smelt and roach when the conditions are right is also good for a bite 👌 what about you? Your PBs? Do you have a prefer lures?

@@kellyscatch7971 you’ve had some big fish, my PB is 23lbs on river and lake on lures, just getting into dead baiting, had a few low figures 😂 you can spend your whole life trying to catch that big girl, I think persistence pays off in the end like you and that albino river carp, I’m myself are chasing a couple of big girls on Salford quays, 32lbs but it’s a hard water to fish, anyway thanks for the reply and tight lines

Hi thank you! Its the trakker level light long back chair, it looks a bit shorter because i cut the adjustable feet off the back and shortened the front by about 2 inches. The back korum transition ruckbag. 👍

Hiya Sean. Thank you for your lovely comment, i think women would really enjoy pike fishing as it's so active and one of the biggest complaints is aw its so boring how do you sit there all day! My wife loves to go but will only lure fish as she likes to keep active, hoping to up her pb this year (14.8). Living on the Broads is Pike heaven. Happy Xmas and tight lines.
