Well done Jon. The "One more" syndrome is very addictive. You can buy Pole Lube but I used to carry a little bottle of Fairy Liquid which lubricated the elastic and served as a kind of anti freeze. All the best for Christmas and may the draw bag be kind in 2023.

I always lube my elastics in these conditions but my lube actually froze at the nozzle, so I just drizzled some on. Thought it was broken but got it home in the warm and it works again!
