This fly is not comparable with standard pike flies. This is something special!! I am convinced that pikes cannot resist and will attack sonn. Very nice work. Thanks for showing and i hope to win this fly to catch a stor fisk. Tack sa mycket Niklaus

Another nice tie. I like the way that you get the shape of the fibres with the UV using the hair clamps and sliding the fibres to where you need them. Now I need to source some of the materials in Australia. 😀

Discovered you videos and find them excellent - been gathering the necessary supplies - in one of your videos you actually show how to prep a dragon tail so it can be attached to the main part of the fly. My problem is I have watched so many of your videos I can't remember which one actually showed the dragon tail being prep/tied onto whatever you use to attach it to the main part of the fly. Could you possible name or put a link to that video ? Thank you in advance for any reply

Would a 10weight rod be able to cast a fly this size

Nice fly, why come you dont tie the back hook more in high and tight, so that the back hook would be tied more vertically rather than alaround? Is there a reason why you would tie everything ”around” the hook rather than just to the top and bottom (like you would when tying high and thight)? Thanks in advance!
