Well the pike in this game is programmed so they drop it after one use. It’s to balance the pike because it’s the most OP thing in the game otherwise.

The fact is, Pike 20 feet tall and the spear was so shorter in a half of Pike 10 feet tall so the Pike can easily put the opponents in the ground

The pike is stupidly broken. It deals a ton of damage, I think only four pikes are needed to kill a super boxer but it’s only single use which severely limits it in combat. This is not accurate in the slightest and is too awful to use for anything else besides 1 shotting elite units. You’re just better off just using sarissas for the same price, at least they might get to their target before being shot to pieces.

single use makes it balanced, 10 of them could easily kill 5 ice giants with no problem if they didn’t drop pikes

Hey idk if you knew this alr or not but you can make custom units in the unit creator, and can give them pikes that don't get dropped They are EXTREMELY op when they get to use those pikes for more than one hit. Even when enemies get inside their pike range they can easily just whip around and smack them. The base game pikemen drop said pikes for a reason. Literally the only way to defeat a pikeman who doesn't drop their pike is ranged units. With the dropping system you're forced to use them tactically; but the perma-pikes are really fun so I use them.
