Hey Dazz, I know a cool thing to point out no one else seems to notice: The end of day letters tell really interesting stories if you let them run when you have certain amounts of treasure, such as the President getting captured by the tax people, and even a postgame story about how Olimar's wife has become rich and gone mad with power, making the kids' lives miserable in effect. I thought it was kinda obvious that the areas were just little changes of the old maps. Basically, I think Nintendo went Lazy with the Pikmin maps and songs in Pikmin 2.

There comes a point in everyone's Pikmin 2 playthrough where they must farm up purple Pikmin in the Subteranean Complex so they can collect the Doomsday Aparatus in the Wistful Wild. Sublevel 8 has 3 violet candypop buds, 2 queen candypop buds, and plenty of eggs. However, what many people watching let's plays rather than ACTUALLY PLAYING THE GAME don't know is that sublevel 4 is a nirvana floor with 3 ivory candypop buds and there's a fourth on sublevel 3. 4 outnumbers 3, making the Subterranean Complex better for farming Whites than Purples. Although 100 Whites aren't necessary for getting all the treasures, on my first playthrough I was very insecure about myself and this happened to be a good idea because, months after beating the game for the first time, I uploaded a video showcasing the Ujadani. Whites are completely necessary for the Ujadani because of the Ujadani releasing poison on death. If you go to my channel and check out the video "Pikmin 2 Secret", you will see all my Whites in all their glory.

Yeah awaking wood=forest of hope perplexing pool=not same layout but very similar to distant spring wistful wild =impact site and final trial mashed together valley of repose I think is made up from pikmin 2(theory valley of repose looks like a turtle kind of) forest navel does not get copied in pikmin 2 but forgotten cove mission level 13 dlc has the same layout as forest navel
