This one takes place in Super Mario World, a break from Super Mario Bros 2, and although it pays tribute to all the Pikmin games, the mechanic of collecting treasure/berries and converting them into fuel is specifically inspired by ‘Hey Pikmin’.
I asked viewers to submit their pixel art to be used as the treasures in this episode, along with a name for the treasure and description. A very special thanks to everyone who took part in the contest, the art and writing I’ve received has been amazing!
Also as always there's a hidden Pikpik carrot in this episode, I hid it REALLY well this time!

‘This appears to be some sort of totem pole sculpture dedicated to a long forgotten species. Unfortunately, the totem was crafted from an unstable frozen substance, causing deterioration.’

The Super FX chip lets you rotate sprites, scale and do 3D but SMW didn't have any special chips. The scaled bosses are done with mode 7.

Highlights of this episode: 1. The description for the "Retro Breathalyzer." All too true with my copy of the game. 2. The "Tablet of Joy". 3. The "Mystery Totem". 4. The description for the "Timey Wimey Ball". 5. The description for the "Portable Refuelling Station". I feel the same way, being that my preferred method of playing games is on either Nintendo or Sega consoles. 6. Imajin and the Pikmin travelling by castle a la Count Duckula. 7. It's actually quite interesting seeing Imajin in a different sprite format than his standard 8 bit self. It makes me wonder what it'd be like if Imajin was still around, and what world he would go to next after Mario World...I kinda see this as an alternative timeline whereas Imajin lived or something, unless if it's following the same timeline whereas we all know what happened with him in the 3rd day.

Other Colored Yoshi Abilities: Purple: Can kill every enemy on screen by eating things. Orange: Immune to lava. Rainbow (Rarest Type): Can eat anything and is the strongest! (And has the original attacks of the other ones. )Black: Can break blocks underneath. White: Can hold an extra 2 slots for power-ups! Brown: Can go into the ground for a sneak attack. Golden: Can defeat any boss in 1 hit! Silver: Temporarily Invincible whenever you collect a power-up!
