HEY Y'ALL
This is my first long form/KZbin video pls be nice to me, tysm.
I was a little all over the place filming this because the sounds above and outside the studio were a tad startling lol.
I know I definitely missed some key points I wanted to touch on but I did get to a lot of the general questions regarding my particular certification program. Please leave any other questions you have in the comments here or you can reach out on any of my other socials that are linked.

I became Stott pilates certified as a reformer teacher at 63! I am teaching 11 classes a week and will be adding 11 more in some weeks, as a relief to a traveling studio owner. I've taught as many as 18 classes a week. I teach now at two different studios and will add the third gig soon. I was fortunate to work at a recreation center in another role. That center needed pilates teachers. I student taught a group of 6 people each Sunday in a classroom of 6 reformers at the center as my student teaching hours. It was great experience, and I still have 5 of those people coming to my classes. For anyone out there, just know that there is a LOT of anatomy and physiology and science based knowledge you need to learn, along with learning the pilates movements. I would strongly suggest becoming a practitioner of pilates before thinking about teaching. Also, passing the test is not easy. When you think you've studied enough, double or triple it.

Also the learning never stops ;). I now teach 25 hours a week I never thought I would be able to handle that in the past but I’m at two studios (previously four) now that helped me create a schedule that keeps me from burning out. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for this!! Ive been in the fitness field for some time and took a break for about 2 years. I’m researching Pilates as my new avenue in the field and you were super helpful. Thanks a bunch and good luck!!

Also was the certification in payment plans or paid in full?

@@daphneantu so glad I could help! The studio I got certified at gave me the option to split payment into 4 after I chatted with the owner. There was just no way I could afford all of it at once at the time 💀
