I'm also thinking of the barge task where I believe Jenny supported someone because they went after her when she crashed the boat, so they shouldn't be penalized for their time.

The better argument against Mae’s drawing is not that drawn pineapples aren’t pineapples, but that a single sheet of paper set flat on the ground can’t be considered “piled.” Those pineapples were two-dimensional - not “piled on the path”!

I'd just waded in at the start and grabbed the pineapples. Technically the "don't get wet" rule only applies after beginning the task, which occurs after reading the note.

The task specifically says: "Pile THE pineapples on the path" As in THE pineapples left out for the contestants to retrieve, both the ones on the float and the ones hidden around the corner. Mae creates new pineapples, that, to me, do not fall under "THE pineapples" previously established and therefore these hitherto non-existent pineapples should not count.

If the golden pineapple is a pineapple, then a drawing of a pineapple also absolutely is. However, you could argue that her drawings weren’t “the pineapples”, as the specific ones were referred to in the task, not “some pineapples”
