honestly, I dont think this points distribution is fair. I mean, the idea behind ferns and sarahs video is creative, but neither of them actually caught anything. fern literally just jumped up a few centimeters and then had the editors do all the work. I am also very doubtful on whether they stayed within the 20 min time limit.

the 20 minutes allocated is for everything that’s in control of the contestant, but alex pauses the clock for anything that the taskmaster staff have to do :))

And I know that they don’t necessarily shoot the same tasks for each contestant in the same order. There is a really cool video on here from the main editor of Taskmaster where she gives some great insight into the production. It’s hard not to get a bit intrigued about the production process the more I’ve watched the show. You may find it interesting. I wish I could remember the title/channel of that video though.
