I went to a friends house this week. She attempted against her life the past weekend so I decided to go to clean her house to give her a little support and a surprise. The house was a complete dissaster but now everything is clean! @@shekinahhall7388 You didn't make me feel bad, trust me! I just myself feel kinda dissapointed that I would like to clean a little more. Just that the hoarding and mental/verbal abuse never stops so its kinda hard to do it. It's nice to do something, but I hate it when just at that moment mom bursts in and orders to do it. Drains all energy and motivation to actually do stuff. The severe depression doesn't help either. But enough sulking. I've been watching hygiene and cleaning comps for the past two night just to maybe learn something or to remember some of the products that would be sold here! :DD I'm nlt American so I doubt theres Clorox at our "Walmart".

I used to clean houses for some company. I'll NEVER understand why people let their homes go like that!! We used to clean this lady's house that had about 9 cats, if not more. That house was DISGUSTING, too say the least. We stopped going the, finally, because it was a health hazard for us.. I love having a clean and organized home💙

poor mental health for the most part. when your mental health is bad you're not motivated to do anything, including cleaning your house and even taking showers. on my worst days, I've spent about 3 weeks without taking a shower. it's not that I was lazy or didn't want to be clean, it was that I lacked even a small amount of motivation to take a shower. I felt disgusting and hated myself so much. depression is no fun, I wish it wasn't so romanticized.

@@larsswig912 It's different for everyone. I get depressed, and I'm in pain everyday. But I still shower everyday, I still try to keep my home clean and organize. Having it messy makes it worse for me, I feel more depressed if it's dirty. Of course when I'm in the worst pain, I do only as much as I can do. I don't let it get too messy though.

My ADHD and mild depression make it really hard for me to sit down and clean anything that belongs to me, because I either develop and attachment to everything or I cant stop yelling at myself for letting it get so bad. Sometimes it isnt laziness, it is a matter of being unable to look into the future to see what it can become rather than seeing the mess it currently is.

That mold in the water reservoir is no joke - it's leached into the plastic and there's no way you can safely clean it. Admirable try, but they shouldn't encourage people to put themselves at risk like this.

@@GSutton I very much agree. If it has mold, you shouldn't try to clean it, that would be exposing yourself to something harmful. You never know if the mold could give off anything and then you're breathing that in. Yeah it really is no joke. But I usually clean my coffee machine and make sure that everything is dry before I store it back onto my shelf
