Great vid. :) On the Pho soup. Sebastian ä, it was not dodgey at all. Looked good to be honest. Even in all of Scandinavia you can get Pho with those sausages in it. ^^ (Ofcourse the dish can vary in quality, it might have been just low quality.)

It's interesting that you went to the less touristy places so you could explore another side of Vietnam, but make sure next time you use Google Translate in interpretation mode because people in those less touristy areas cannot speak or understand English, I saw too many misunderstandings in the conversations.

There is no pork in Pho ( noodle soup originated from North Vietnam ) . The meats you saw there were cooked beef ( thit bo chin ) and raw red beef ( thit bo tai ) . Only Hu Tiu ( the South VN noodle soup ) has pork .

vietnamese here, i feel kinda bad for you to have tried those not so delicous food. For your plan, i reccomend you learning some simple vietnamese sentences cuz ppl from the countryside dont know much that much english. Go along the Hcm trail you must keep your self safe and be aware of the lơw quality road and cheap hotels along the road. Vietname has vảrious terain types, caves in Quang Binh, mountain in the Northwest, desert in Ninh Thuan, snow in SaPa(winter only).etc. Keep yourself safe buddy!
