Having watched at least some of LBC output on this and exchanged comments with several people loon on this platform and I think I might be sensing a different conclusion than a win-lose. 1. There is no place in democratic countries for the political violence abuse threats and intimidation on anyone by anyone specifically on police officers that we have seen these days past. 2. There is also no place for the disinformation, rabble rousing, provocation that had an essential part to play in the production of a riotous mindset. 3. 1 and 2 above : government must act with expedition to quell both violence and the causes of violence. 4. Once order has been restored there will probably need to be a new discussion on the topic of immigration policy 5 That discussion will ned to examine all known options and generate new options for evaluation in formal policy development. 6. That discussion must involve all segments of British society. Faith communities, in particular. We will either sole this problem of the welcome new citizens get on arrival or we will know we did our best

I would push back on the "leaving twitter wouldn't do anything" argument. I'm not saying you (JOB) should leave twitter, I understand how much time it takes to build that base and to be honest there isn't really a viable alternative option for the Twitter format of social media (which is why there should even more responsibility / independent regulatory body as at this point it's basically an essential form of communication that the public relies on). However, if people visibly do not use the platform it will decrease interest from advertisers (do advertisers really care about advertising on a platform where it's only demographic is right wing?). @@ru76224 yes you are right but you are missing the point.. I’m talking about the bigger picture.. why does the presenter accept some calls from these types of people? We can’t just cancel people just because we don’t agree with them.. where will that get us as a society? If we want things to improve we have to talk… there has to be a dialogue.. if we isolate them and don’t allow them to express their opinions then how can we challenge them? How can we get them to change their radical perceptions?

Talking about family. Those who been arrested on 2011 most of them had long sentence. Some still at college or work placement most of them teen. Those who suffered most are the mothers. They have been taken by surprise, all of sudden they found themself quote between work, courts, lawyers having to look after sibling. Those who are rioting should think about their wife's, kids because the judiciary process is though.
