You can somehow skip monster rounds Idk how you do it but I've seen it before

if you press the afk button while the screen fades out before a round, you play as survivor, completely skipping monster chances. just press it again before the round.

This is late but, no, your monster chance isn’t permanent, I just farmed it. Your monster chance resets after you become the monster, though with the addition of monster chance saving you can keep a high number and switch servers if you didn’t become the monster yet.
