Thanks for sharing. For litterally any size of box, without needing to know the sizes ahead of time; score at 1/4 inch for the area where you will glue. then fold the narrow edge inwards. Now fold the paper/card in half. Use whatever dies you may have in your stash to make the oval section. Leave the piece folded up so you are cutting both layers exactly the same.

That’s is the first pillow box that I have actually liked. Really clever. I have looked a few months back for that circle tool. I could not find anything even close. Thanks again for sharing your ideas and talents. Gods Blessings to you.

Another brilliant Tutorial. I do have a Pillow Box Die, to honest yours is so simple to follow I certainly would not bother buying a Die. With your Tutorial you can make a bag any size, the Die limits you. Thank You Patricia

I know exactly what you mean.. Any time l misplace something l start feeling like l accidentally threw it away., l’ve been known to empty out all the trash cans in the house, frantically looking for it. I always find whatever it is sometimes days later. Once l re-purchased a die set because l couldn’t stand the thought of it being gone, forever. Luckily it wasn’t very expensive. Anyway it showed up later, so l sent it to my crafty sister. I’ve got to stay more organized so that doesn’t happen again. Supplies are expensive enough without having the need to buy them twice. Lol. !! Thank you for this tutorial. I was looking for just such a pattern. I think pillow boxes are adorable.

Looks easy enough. Wouldn’t you cut the half circle on the inside flap? I would think that one would be the hardest to open.
