Doris Day and Rock Hudson have wonderful chemistry together. 1959 was a great time to be alive for design, fashion, and faboulas American cars. ❤

I think that Doris's best comedies were all with Rock Hudson. She and he were so wonderful together and made the perfect movie couple! This song is a beautiful way to hear the unique voice Doris has, and Pillow Talk is one of my Top Five films of all time. God bless you, Doris!

I love Doris Day!! Her Voice is Enchanting.♥️ I have been watching Her Movies and Listening to Her Music since I was a Little Girl. My Mom loved her. Some People thought that She looked like Doris. Her Love For Animals is Wonderful!!✨

I love how they gave her a character so different from everything she had done before this movie. It really was groundbreaking at the time, that's for sure. Like, I even read somewhere about how, back then, some people were kinda shocked about the way she looked in this movie, can you believe this? Talking about how she looked "too sexy". And to portray a character that's independent, sure of herself, most of all, comfortable with her own sexuality and desires, with no problem showing her intentions of what she wants, kinda messed up the delusional "squeaky clean" image people had of her as the "good girl next door". Like??? oh hell yes, DO 👏 IT 👏 GIRL👏. Doris was an absolute baddass for doing this movie, shaking things up a bit. AWESOME!

Hold me tight. And kiss me right. I'm yours tonight. My darling, possess me. Tenderly. And breathlessly. Make love to me. My darling, possess me. Near to me. When you are near to me, My heart forgets to be. Stars that shine, Make dreams divine. So say you're mine. And my darling, possess me.

I have always love Doris Day since my teen years. I was only 19 when I was in love with her. This is, I think, the sexiest love song I´v ever hear or seen. What a sexy, insinuating voice. What a woman.

Does anyone know if the movie version (i.e., slower version here) was ever released? This is a hard Doris Day song to find but there was also a slightly more uptempo version that I always seem to find instead.
@DorisDayFanatic14 жыл бұрын
@nancyfloressantos Agreed!! =D
@DorisDayFanatic14 жыл бұрын
@clari8402 Hmm...I think the slightly more uptempo version of the song was the only official studio release, but don't quote me on that. I do have an MP3 of the film version that I could send you if you wanted - it's just the audio ripped from the movie, though. I also have an alternate version of the studio release, but I can't remember if it's any slower. I'll check my main computer when I go home this weekend and let you know what I have. =)
