It’s strange how some things tempt us & others no , alcohol was my first drug of choice, but I would never be tempted now, but I think pills will always be difficult. I go through times when I am too flat to even be bothered to speak, everything’s such an effort, but on the whole it is much better as I’m busy back at work now, & fortunately love my job, in dementia care, & get a huge sense of purpose from it . Keep doing what your doing, your a HERO & a VETERAN, fight the good fight. Praying for you & the family xxxx

I talk to and know people who are trying to get off it, going through withdrawals, have already kicked it. Gabapentin is something not everyone understands why sone people get addicted to it. I don’t really get the temptation of Gabapentin. I’ve taken it for years for nerve pain due to arthritis and I literally don’t feel anything from it. It just takes away the nerve pain, numbness and tingling. Is if a different affect if you don’t “need it”?

I found some codeine pills in my grandma's house from Canada. I was smart enough to extract the Codeine from the APAP (aspirin) but not the caffeine and holy shit it was terrible 😂 What makes purple drank purple? I thought that was just the Actavis brand, where as others come more of a red color. Makes no sense to me why rappers are paying thousands of dollars for such a weak drug. Look up the story about NBA Youngboy's recent arrest if you haven't seen that.

Hi gabe I've watched you now for about a year and watched all your vids... if it wasn't for you I'd still be on my clonazapam... tapered and was torture...then even worse when stopping... but I'd like to say thank you to you for helping me through this and I wish there was something I could do to help you through your withdrawal...your a good man for helping people through this withdrawal hell even though your going through your own... I wouldn't have been able to do it...I pray for you every night..thank you..... p.s the reason why the withdrawal is at its worst at night and mornings goes back to the fight or flight response when we where cave men and looking and sensing for danger when sleeping and waking so the body responds faster to it if a lion or a cheetah came in looking to goble up one of the tribe.... V for victory buddy.

I appreciate you touching on the subject, and the syrup itself is what is purple. I have never drank it either, I thought it was stupid because you could get a lot higher a lot cheaper with a pill, than codeine. But I guess that's the reasoning for moving to heroin too. Anyways, hope you pull out of the dark place you're in, seems like you're doing ok, but I know looks can be deceiving.

It helps headaches a lot it helps with agitation. If u take a lot u can get loopy which I don’t like. It just kinda helps take the edge off. Nothing too great but I’m tempted by it because it’s something I haven’t completely cut off in my mind like opiates and Benzos…

The purple syrup is Phenergan with codeine. Grape flavored and I used to chug that stuff at bedtime for cough and sleep. I couldn't have that around.

I used to get this cough syrup but years before my opiate addiction ever started but looking back I loved that cough syrup for my cough but started liking it too much for the fuzzy drowsy feeling and sound sleep it gave me. Dr gave me a few refills then bam cut it off. Guess that was the beginning of my liking getting buzzed. If I only knew.
