You can use any plate or bowl just that the cake tin should sit on it comfortably and little bit high so that water doesn’t enter cake tin and you need not remove the rubber of the lid

No need to cool down the mix when your cake batter is ready just pour in the cake mould & steam it as shown. Then when cake is ready let the cake come to room temperature before you de mould it. Thank yoi❣️
