In some shots its said it was actually; Ted Cassidy or Dick Durock playing the Hulk in longshots! Before Lou Ferringo was cast as the Hulk. The Hulk looks incredibly tall in some awkward shots here?!

MGSBigBoss77 I think that also Richard Kiel was also up for the part of the Hulk, but he didn't have the physicality. Neither did Ted Cassidy, but he did the Hulk's roar as well as the opening narration.

The only person who actually appeared other than Lou Ferrigno and occasionally stuntmen, was Richard Kiel in just one shot. Ted Cassidy originally provided the Hulk’s growls, but he was never in the makeup. Dick Durock had been considered, but didn’t don the makeup until he played Dell Frye’s creature in The First.
