Very nice interview..Hats off to the Captain Deepa...I am a Hotelier and i have worked in Taj Flight Kitchen in Chennai. As She said we prepare two kind of different meals for the Pilot and Co Pilot we call it as First Officier Meal ...as She said the reason behind two different meal is if in case any thing happens like food Poison or any food allergy either the Pilot or the Co Pilot should handle the flight till they land so for safety reasons two different meals are provided. And even for First Class Passengers and Bussiness Class Passengers the meal Varies and again for the Economy Class passengers its different meal is provided...apart from this for Children's we provide Child meal and for people who have diabetes and other illness we cook LCML that is Low Calorie Meal and DBML is called Diabetes meal and even we provide jain Meal also for all the Class and in International flights we provide Nut free Meal also...its very intresting Subject both Civil aviation job and Flight Kitchen job .Hats off to both of them the eay the asked the question and very Sincere answer by Captain Deepa....
