Nice flying and a good model. You need an LC filter to clean up that interference on the FVP feed, cost a couple of dollars and clears up the video quite well.

@OzFPVflyer I usually use a 1000uf capacitor, and it cleans up the fpv feed. But this big motor is bucking the system. Thanks for the advice. I will be changing out the stock motor at some point.

@@JD_1 Might be a good idea to use a separate battery for the FVP. That way you can keep that beasty motor and all will be good. Cheers mate and happy flying.

Nice video! I am having trouble with video range. I have similar components as you. RDQ Mach 3 VTX and Quantum FR632 VRX. On the VTX I have tried a Foxeer Lollipop and an HGLRC Hammers antenna and on the VRX I have a GepRC triple feed patch and I have tried both the Lollipop and Hammers with same result. I'm only looking to get out to max of 3km, but the problem is within 500 meters I need to have good omni reception because I need to fly the pattern side-to-side in front of me. What antennas do you recommend on the VTX and on the VRX?

@PolarisPilot the fr632 is a classic good! I still use mines when I plan long range flights. Foxeer doesn't make any good antennas for range. Get a VAS ( video aerial system ) pepperbox. It will cover 180° in front of you. So that will take care of the side to side. A vas 5 turn helical has a wide beam with as well. But has more penatration ability directly in front of you at distance. On the plane vtx... try to find a blue top madmushroom vas antenna. They are rare these days to find. But search the classified and ebay for it. With these antennas, you will be good for about 15 miles in front of you and still have the ability for a wide flight pattern. But the biggest key to success is knowing how to aim the antennas and flying within their beams.

@@JD_1 Thank you for the quick reply. I wanted to get a pepperbox, but those are hard to come by in RHCP. I thought about changing everything to LHCP so I could get one and also would be set for Walksnail digital. I did find a madmushroom and got it on the way. Have you found a good omni for the VRX?

@PolarisPilot I honestly never use a omni on the vrx anymore. Because the pepperbox does so well. And I hardly ever fly behind myself. But when I did use one... I used the madmushroom or airscrew with the blue tops. The pepperbox is honestly a game changer.
