Pilot RC Laser 73’’ - 40CC Twin Boxer Engine RCGF - Slideshow Assembly and Maiden Flight!

This is my Pilot RC Laser 73’’ with an RCGF 40CC Twin Boxer Engine. Finally able to maiden it after a few months of assembling. It’s an absolute joy to fly! I’m still running in the engine on this maiden, which you probably can hear.
I went with Spektrum servos and a Powerbox regulator from Powerbox-Systems.
Total flight-time is from 5-6 minutes (probably a little bit more if flying more calmly).
Many thanks to Trond Hammerstad, owner of Exact Aircraft, for providing me with servos, receiver, powerbox and much more gear, and many thanks for letting me assembly this plane in his workshop! I’m a very lucky guy!

Hi Markus, I really appreciate all the close up shots of the Laser. As a first time gas engine user, it has helped to clarify several things for me. Can you please let me know which make and length of engine standoffs you used for the Stinger? Seems like I'll need around 40mm?

Heisann! Så gøy! Jeg er veldig fornøyd med oppsettet 😃 Den ble litt nesetung, så måtte ha ca. 100 gram med bly i halen. I tillegg er batteriene plassert så langt bak jeg fikk til 😊
