Hi Danny, yeah, pull pull system does lose tightness over the flights. I have heard the key is to have both sides with the exact length...have tried and it doesn't work for me at all.I have done a lot of 3D with an untighten (at least not at all) cable and I haven't experience any problems so far. I think once it is in the air, the only important thing is the servo to have enough power to pull the surface given the G forces applied. Looking forward to hearing how the direct linkage works for you. Safe flights!

I think you did a nice job and I like what you've done. My opinion on pull pull is slightly different though. I find that it's far superior to a pushrod setup because you can use a large arm and the servo works from both sides. It depends on what cable you choose and yes they do wear in slightly so when you make the cables be sure to make them on the short side giving yourself lots of threads for adjustments. Also most people make the mistake to run them parallel or too tight. I'm sure you know to always cross them. Anyhow either way is great. Nice clean job you did there. Happy flying

@raantmnz if you don't cross the cables, they won't enter the fuselage or line up with the servo properly.

Lovely job you done on the upgrade, one question ,did😮 you use any reinforcement carbon on the inside of the fuselage.

Why is the rudder servo on the same side as the elevator?

Hi Megadeth.. the size of the NG 78” it has 2 elevator servos one on each side so it doesn’t matter which side you have the servo it will alway have a elevator side to it.. fly safe Megadeth 👍
