Good review sir. I have the LS and agree it's a great knife, one often overlooked in the Esee lineup. Well worth a look if your after a bomb proof bushcraft knife or a lightweight survival knife.

That one never really grew on me enough to own, but it's cool that they put in the hollow handle for the kit. But I'd rather have the 6 or use my 4, that would be cool to piggyback a candiru or izula in the pouch

Check out the Cudeman Sanabria. I just ordered the mini version but the regular one has a very close design yet with stainless steel. It's a very nice looking blade.

I use a Benchmade 162 for my outdoor needs, but I've always had a soft spot the laser strike. I prefer micarta scales too.. I think they wear handsomely. But the handle of my 162 won me over in use because of the shape. Even though it's g10 .

Sorry Bud but the esse pouch DOES fit on the sheath. Just gotta squeeze the pouch a bit. I have it attached to my Laser Strike

Nice video man, always liked Esee, have you thought of trying the Knife Connection TKC grips? I've got them for all my Esee knives and they are awesome, worth every penny in my opinion, and they are G-10 so they don't absorb as much moisture and have great traction.

PS ...apparently the pouch does fit the LS. You have to pinch it in slightly to make it line up with the holes. I don't have the pouch so I can't verify this, but a Google search would probably answer the question. Hope this helps ATB.

3v is not stainless and 440C is a great stainless steel when heat treated properly like how Esee and TOPS HT theirs.
