Love the music and presentation! Just bought it. Late to the party but it is discounted. I only had enough time to start it at Waldez AK and I was already in love. Can’t wait to jump pack in and make a video featuring it.

Fantastic video and tutorial! The only thing I feel it's missed is the climb and cruise rpm, and manifold pressure managing during those two stages. Can I ask you if there is a manual, or something? Can't actually find anything in the plane folders, but I would really like to fly this beauty by the book, to reach a more deep immersion (obviously I know that's not a study level software). Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks for watching! No manual came with this release. Here is a link to the POH military version of the Staggerwing: ww2aircraft.net/forum/attachments/beech-c17-c-43-staggerwing-pdf.214350/ You should be able to get the numbers from this document. As always, Carenado hits it out of the park on the external and internal visuals. The flight model leaves a bit to be desired though. It's tough to land this bird without bouncing! I wonder if that was a characteristic of the real aircraft, or just limited to this virtual version.....or it COULD be that I am just horrible with taildraggers!! :D Despite some of the usual shortcomings, I am really enjoying this aircraft. Thanks for the video. : )

Common to most taildraggers in MSFS. I have much more success with a full-stall three point landing.
@TheFlightLevel2 жыл бұрын
Definitely agree on the visuals! They are state of the art. Flight dynamics need improvement for the taildraggers in MSFS. The bounce needs to be tamed a touch also. It is a heavy aircraft with the Pratt&Whitney up front, so any signs of a stall without sufficient forward momentum will lead to a bounce. With practice, greasing the landings with a touchdown at 60 MPH will eliminate the bounce. Thanks for commenting!

Not for long hauls without Autopilot.
@TheFlightLevel2 жыл бұрын
Quite true! It does trim out very quickly and nicely during cruise - certainly helps for the longer legs. I am sure we will see an autopilot mod in the future as this aircraft is very popular in the community. Thanks for watching and commenting!
