I am a Filipino origins from Italy...became a flight attendant for 8 years and then I decided to join a pilot training course, I finished the course in 3 years while I was working. I got my licenses and applied for a couple of companies, I was lucky to pass both the assessments and I choose the Airline that I was already working with as an FA. It is weird to work now in the other side of that wall and if people ask me how I feel about that, at first is just normal for me but thinking about it on how I got at this point of my life, I must confess that it makes me feel goose bumps.

HanBee Bar in europe there are no degree needed. All you need to do is to be able economically to pay for your flight training or if you ate lucky you can always apply to a Cadet Program raised by Airlines...

may kaibigan ako na babae na piloto noong 80’s to 90’s sya yong unang babae na piloto ng PAL sya si Aimee Carandang ang bait nya, SG ako sa PAL noon at sya ay nag training na piloto noon sa PAL kya nakilala ko sya hanggang sa naging piloto na ng PAL at sya ang unang babaing captain na nagpalipad noon ng Fokker 50 Manila to Baguio naalala ko yon dahil ako ang naka assigned na SG sa airline na yon nong umalis sa Manila at hanggang bumalik kya kinamayan ko sya at nag hug sya sakin, at simula noon magkaibigan na kami plagi kaming nagkikita at nagkakausap sa Domestic Airport sa tuwing may Flight sya at kahit nasa cockpit na sya pag natanaw ko sya o natanaw nya ako kinakawayan nya ako at ganon din ako, ang bait nya hindi sya nagbago mula trainee hanggang naging kapitan sya hindi ko alam Kung nasaan na sya ngayon bka retire na sya.

Pag sa pinas cguro mahirap. Dito basta’t high school grad ka at 5’2 ang height pwede kana mag flight attendant. Hehe they will train you. Kahit front desk sa pinas dapat 4 year course din. But sadly because of people's opinions, my parents didn't allow me (like this is dangerous, girls can't do this). So I chose Software engineering but I always felt I'm stuck, this doesn't make me happy.
